Increasing costs for fuel, energy and raw materials were discussed in the article World Steel Prices and we posed the question “So what does this all mean for the castor manufacturer and user?” and said that we have to continue finding ways to keep products as competitive as we can whilst maintaining quality and service. So how are we going to do this?
Well we need to ensure that the quality of our products remains high: there’s as old adage that says if you buy cheap then you get cheap and this is true with castors – we need to make sure that our products are not only competitive but are also of the quality that our customers demand so we wont be cutting corners to save a few pennies: all of our products are subjected to a rigorous test program giving the user confidence in our products.
We need to make sure that we maintain our high standards of customer service and provide a level of stability giving the consumer piece of mind that their order is in safe hands.
We need to continue looking for the most advantageous supply options whether that be for steel, plastics, freight or factory consumables ensuring we have a tight reign on costs giving the user price stability in what is becoming a volatile market with some castor suppliers increasing costs on a weekly basis.
Colson are doing all of these things, constantly monitoring our entire supply chain ensuring we provide the best Quality, Service and Price.
