Truck locks provide a means of securing a truck in a fixed position (but do not raise it), whilst allowing complete freedom of movement of the foot pedal. The TLCM is instantly released by slight downwards pressure on the special trip lever. The operating force is moderate and does not vary with the load as the "over-centre" linkage presses the rubber pad into firm contact without lifting the castors off the ground. The TLCM truck lock is designed to be bolted to the side or the end of the truck, the holes being drilled to suit by the customer. Four 10mm clearance holes are suggested, the top piar being up to 353mm and the lower pair not less than 226mm above the ground. When correctly fitted, the foot pad must be 33mm from the floor witht he linkage in the raised position. TLCM truck locks are available in handed pairs using the suffix "L" indicating the lever is on the left and "R" for the lever on the right.
